Hello! My name is Zayyan and I am a senior in the undergraduate Interior Architecture program at Marymount University.
I was raised in a creative household, always crafting with my mom or assisting my dad with home repairs, and I eventually found my own creative hobbies of knitting and sewing! I developed a passion for shaping spaces, and it led me to choosing a career in the design world. I have an eye for giving my designs character and enjoy using color and geometry to create functional and aesthetic spaces.
My professional work has been largely in the residential space, with a couple internships at residential firms and a full time position in residential retail. My projects have been primarily commercial, with my Senior Capstone being a reflection of the type of space I wish everyone had access to, a place where creativity can be explored, much like my own childhood.
